The United Indian Association has organised the below event and your committed attendance is required. Click here for more info.

Let’s remember the great spirit and daughter of India known as ‘Damini’, ‘Nirbhaya’, ‘Amaanat’ or India’s Brave heart, who lost her life to the hands of one the most gruesome acts in the history of modern India.

United Indian Associations Inc. wishes to pay a tribute to the fighting spirit of the brave girl that went into a deep sleep awakening the entire nation to a sad reality about violence against women in India.

We wish to hold a prayer meeting for the departed soul peacefully but strongly putting across our opinion about ‘Zero Tolerance for violence against women’ to the Governments and Authorities across the world.

Venue: Martin Place, between Philip St and Macquarie St, Sydney
Date: 4th January 2013
Time: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

We urge you to come and pay your tribute to the brave soul and support the opinion towards ‘Zero tolerance for violence against women’. You may express your feelings peacefully through posters or placards.
